Achievement
The project, centered on the home environment, had a very broad scope, involving complex development of both hardware (energy metering sensors and consumption data actuators) and software components (online data dashboard and multiplayer game). The difficulty was broken down by modularizing tools extensively and focusing on very specific use cases. Finally, an experiment involving 148 participants divided into four groups, provided significative insights regarding the sociopsychological mechanisms at work, all leaning towards the initial project hypotheses.
